On the 2nd of March 2025, DAWN met more than 200 mothers and their children in Gogonya Village at Bulenga Healing Ministries. In collaboration with Mariestopes Uganda, we educated mothers on various areas of concern and provided support with immunization, family planning, mama kits (delivery kits), and other requirements for healthy and exciting maternal life.
DAWN exists for mothers and their children. That is all. Our modes of operation involve finding mothers and their babies in the communities. We also rely on technology, including WhatsApp groups, social media, and our interactive website, to communicate and support mothers.
As such, we were happy to meet mothers who were eager to learn, utilize services, and achieve healthy lives for themselves and their babies. And we are still going on.
